1960s Old Kraftsman by Kay Vanguard II Sunburst

'60s funkiness with plenty of character and a unique body shape!

The Old Kraftsman were a line from American instrument manufacturer Kay, which were notable for manufacturing a wide variety of instruments which saw wide use across the spectrum of influential American guitar players. This particular example is a two-pickup Vanguard, which notably featured DeArmond-made pancake pickups which sounds excellent. The neck on this one feels nice and full, and features a beautifully dark Brazilian rosewood fretboard. Electronics look all original under the hood minus what appears to be a replacement output jack. 

Cosmetic condition is quite good for its age, with dings and checking throughout as expected. Hardware is fully functional, and plays well with a low medium action. No case.
