2006 Fender Japan JB53 Jazz Bass Sunburst
Another fun example from Japan!
Finished in a three-tone sunburst, this example based off a T serial dates to either 2006 or 2007 and was featured within catalogs at the time as the JB53 model. Released as part of the J-Craft Standard line, the JB53 brings a lot of the key design features of Jazz Bass together, in a more affordable package than the American Standard line of the time. Featuring a basswood body and maple neck with rosewood fretboard, these examples feature the 'oval' neck profile and combined with their satin neck finish, are quite a joy to play!Â
Cosmetic condition is okay with dings on the bottom and treble side horn of the bass. There are also a couple of small dings on the back of the neck, as well as general play wear throughout. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low action. No case or gig bag included.Â
